Cannock Sound is a professional production company supplying & managing equipment to the events industry
Everyone at Cannock Sound was proud to have been chosen to supply the production equipment at the renaming and dedication of Black Sabbath bridge with Tony Iommi & Geezer Butler.
Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler cruised on to the scene aboard a narrowboat to unveil the new bridge signage from the canal below the bridge, with thousands of BLACK SABBATH fans flocking to the city to watch.
Live music was provided by Black Sabbath tribute band, “Sabbracadabra” who performed on a small island located in the middle of the canal way. This posed problems as we would not allow any power on the island so all signal was taken at line level and sent back to production via a 75m 24/way Van Damme multicore system which we stock. Monitoring for the band was done with wired in-ear systems. Due to the close proximity to Birmingham Arena and several other businesses, wireless systems were not an option.
We also supplied the audio system which was used on the narrow boat for the bridge renaming ceremony.
Cannock Sound are proud to have played a part in the great celebration.
